SmartD Loans provides a peer-to-peer lending platform that connects students seeking educational loans with investors looking to fund these loans. Our services include:

  • Student loan applications and processing
  • Investment opportunity management
  • Payment processing and loan management
  • Platform administration and support
3. User Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid South African ID or passport
  • Be a registered student at an accredited institution (for borrowers)
  • Have sufficient funds for investment (for investors)
  • Provide accurate and complete information
4. Loan Terms

For student borrowers:

  • Initial loan amount: R200
  • Subsequent loans increase by 25% with each successful repayment
  • Interest rate: 20% per annum
  • Repayment period: 30-90 days
  • Late payment penalties may apply
5. Investment Terms

For investors:

  • Minimum investment: R50
  • Expected return: Up to 20% annually
  • Investment duration: Matches loan term
  • Returns are not guaranteed and depend on loan repayment
  • Platform fees may apply
6. User Responsibilities

All users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information
  • Protecting their account credentials
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Timely repayment of loans (borrowers)
  • Understanding investment risks (investors)

8. Fees and Charges
